In-Person Hands-On Class with Sandie Beltran of You Can Call Me Sweetie

New Orleans in conjunction with Bakechella June 15th-17th 

When: Thursday, June 15th 2023 at 10am-1pm

Sandie has come up with a fun, informative way to understand the intricately wonderful world of cookie decorating with royal icing. In this hands on class, Sandie will teach and demonstrate how to make 6 different royal icing consistencies to better execute your cookie designs. In your class packet filled with recipes and piping practice work sheets, you will also get a visual guide to help you achieve the icing consistencies perfectly EVERY SINGLE TIME. What's so great about this class is we will start off with a full discussion on all things COOKIE to give everyone the opportunity to ask questions and talk about troubleshooting. Then we will go into making a fresh batch of royal icing, followed by each person making their consistencies with Sandie's  instructions and her trusted Royal Icing Totem Pole.  Each student will also get to pipe and ice their cookies in class. So whether you are an experienced cookier and want to expand your knowledge of royal icing consistencies, a newbie that is still struggling to get the right consistency of royal icing, or a caker that has been watching all those cookie decorating videos and is curious on how to get your cookie on! There is something for everyone in this 3 hour hands one class.
